We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from The Art H.O.O.D. Please read our returns policy below before making a purchase.
Returns
We offer a 30-day return policy on eligible items. This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be unused and in its original condition.
- Be returned in its original packaging where possible.
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

Returns should not be sent without first contacting us, as unauthorised returns may not be accepted.
Once your return has been approved, we'll provide instructions on how and where to return your item.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item arrives damaged, defective or you have received the wrong item, please contact us at hello@thearthood.co.uk as soon as possible. Where possible, please include photographs so we can resolve the issue quickly.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-refundable and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or faulty:
- Original artwork
- Commissioned artwork
- Bespoke or personalised items
- Digital downloads
- Gift cards
- Sale items
As original paintings and commissioned pieces are created or selected specifically for you, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind.
Digital downloads cannot be refunded once the purchase has been completed.

Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, please return your eligible purchase in accordance with this policy and place a new order once your return has been approved.
European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
If your order is delivered to a country within the European Union, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, unless the item is exempt from cancellation rights.
Please note that this right does not apply to:
- Commissioned or personalised artwork.
- Original artwork made or adapted specifically for you.
- Digital downloads once access has been provided.
Eligible returned items must be unused, in their original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll notify you whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
